Chihiro KISHIMOTO

Hanshi 8th Dan Iaido MSR, Kyoshi 7th Dan Jodo, Renshi 5th Dan Kendo

Kishimoto Sensei honours us with his presence as a Delegate from the All Japan Kendo Federation. Former AJKF Iaido Committee Chairman.

Atsumi HATAKENAKA

Kyoshi 8th Dan Iaido MJR

Hatakenaka Sensei honours us with her presence as a Delegate from the All Japan Kendo Federation. Hatakenaka Sensei is considered the most senior, active female Iaido sensei in the world. Her Koryu is Muso Jikiden Eishin Ryu.

Kyoshi 7th Dan Iaido MJR,
Renshi 6th Dan Kendo

CKF Iaido Chief Examiner; Ohmi-sensei is the Honourary Instructor and Co-Founder of the Mu Mon Kai Iaido Club at the JCCC. His Koryu is Muso Jikiden Eishin Ryu under Haruna Matsuo-sensei, Okayama. Ohmi-sensei also holds 6th Dan in Kendo.

Mitsuru ASAOKA

Renshi 7th Dan Iaido MJR,
Kyoshi 8th Dan Kendo

CKF Iaido West Examiner; Asaoka-senseI holds Kyoshi 8th Dan in Kendo and is the Chief Iaido Instructor at the Youshinkan Dojo in Vancouver, BC. His Koryu is Muso Jikiden Eishin Ryu.

Stephen CRUISE

Renshi 7th Dan Iaido MSR,
Kendo 5th Dan

CKF Iaido East Examiner; Cruise-sensei is the Chief Iaido Instructor at the Etobicoke Kendo and Iaido Club at the Etobicoke Olympium. His Koryu is Muso Shinden Ryu. Cruise-sensei also holds 5th Dan in Kendo.

Takeshi KIMEDA

7th Dan Iaido MJR, 5th Dan Jodo,
9th Dan Aikido

Kimeda-sensei is 9th Dan in the Yoshinkan style of Aikido and has been training in Iaido for over 25 years.

From 1983, I have been a student, and later, instructor at Ken Zen dojo, NYC. In 2008, at the AUSKF Iaido seminar, held at Bryn Mawr, PA, I received Renshi. Since 2009, I have participated yearly in the Kyoto Taikai, Iaido section. In 2014, at Okayama City, Okayama Prefecture, I received 7dan.
